Your Boiler Service
Another year older, your boiler's birthday service is due!
We trust that your boiler has been serving you and your family well over the past year. However, much like a car requires regular maintenance and an MOT, your boiler also needs similar care and attention.
As well as avoiding cold showers, you’ll sidestep the stress and added cost of emergency repairs. That’s paired with the peace of mind that your boiler is working at its best throughout the year.

Which type of boiler service would you like?
Like a car, each boiler has different maintenance schedules. Some require a full strip down every 5 years and some are every other year.
As an existing customer of Jones Heating we keep a record of what work we've done to your boiler over the years so if you're unsure drop us a call or a message and we'll let you know which is which.
Choose the Right Boiler Service for Your Needs
Safety Check/MOT
£64.99
This service is essentially a safety check for your boiler.
We’ll make sure everything is safe and sound, but we won’t be doing any preventative maintenance to keep it running smoothly for the next 12 months.
It’s a simple check to ensure your boiler is operating safely.
The Standard Service
£74.99
This is our most popular option because it covers all the essentials for a routine service and includes helpful tips on using your boiler efficiently.
With this service, we also take care of some preventative maintenance to help keep your boiler running smoothly for the next 12 months, reducing the chance of any unexpected hiccups (though we can’t guarantee it).
It’s a great way to keep your boiler in good shape and give you peace of mind!
The Premium Service
£94.99
With this service, we do everything included in the standard service, plus we give the burner and heat exchanger a good clean. This helps your boiler run more efficiently, which means you can save money on your energy bills.
On top of that, keeping these important parts in great shape can help your boiler last longer, so you can avoid unexpected repairs or needing a replacement too soon.
It’s all about keeping your boiler happy and saving you money in the long run!
*Please be aware there may be additional costs for service parts such as burner gaskets, seals etc that may be required depending on your model of boiler.
Boiler Servicing FAQs
Our FAQs section looks to answer any questions you may have about boiler servicing. Should your question still be left unanswered please contact our team.
We recommend booking in a boiler service at least once a year. An annual boiler service will check your boiler’s condition after the intense winter period and make sure it’s working at its best ready for the return of cold weather.
As fully trained heating engineers, we can service boilers from any manufacturer. From Alpha, Baxi and Glow-worm to Vaillant, Vokèra and Viessmann, we have hands-on experience with almost every boiler brand on the market.
The cost of a boiler service depends on which level service you have. We have three different options for our customers starting from just £59.99. This small annual cost could save you a lot more on emergency repairs, extend the lifespan of your boiler and keep your energy bills down by improving your boiler’s performance.
The time it takes to service a boiler depends on what level of service you have. Typically a boiler service takes anything from 30 mins up to 60 minutes.
In some cases a boiler service will resolve a few issues that can come from a lack of routine maintenance, particularly pressure loss issues.
But if a boiler is broken down completely or is not working correctly then it’s usually a case that the boiler will need to be repaired before a service can be completed.
It’s very important to have your pressurised hot water tank serviced.
If you have a pressurised hot water cylinder then you should have that serviced too. If you have a gravity fed hot water tank then it’s not necessary to be serviced.
You can usually tell if it is a pressurised hot water tank because most of them are white, whereas gravity fed tanks can be green, blue, red, or just copper.
Pressurised hot water tanks have some important valves and components which need to be checked and routinely maintained.
If they’re not maintained it can lead to faults or in some cases a dangerous situation.
It’s highly recommended to have this serviced at the same time you have your boiler serviced.

Really good, came promptly, assessed quoted and arranged a installation within a few hours. Brought electric heaters with him which was a God send. Really impressed.

Always use this company, would not go anywhere else. Punctual, professional, trustworthy, very coscientious and reasonably priced ( won't rip you off). My family also use this company. We all thoroughly recommend.
