Which type of boiler service would you like?

Like a car, each boiler has different maintenance schedules. Some require a full strip down every 5 years and some are every other year.

On this service we complete everything from the standard service but we also clean out the burner and the heat exchanger to help improve the efficiency of the boiler and in turn save you money on your energy bill.

This is also the best option for properties with complex heating systems who want the added piece of mind knowing that an in depth service has been undertaken.

It includes all of the essential elements required for a routine service as well as advice on using the boiler efficiently.

On this service, we complete some preventative maintenance tasks which help the boiler run for another 12 months without any unnecessary issues (not a guarantee)

How often does my boiler need a service?

We recommend booking in a boiler service at least once a year. An annual boiler service will check your boiler’s condition after the intense winter period and make sure it’s working at its best ready for the return of cold weather.

Which boilers can you service?

As fully trained heating engineers, we can service boilers from any manufacturer. From Alpha, Baxi and Glow-worm to Vaillant, Vokèra and Viessmann, we have hands-on experience with almost every boiler brand on the market.

How much does a boiler service cost?

The cost of a boiler service depends on which level service you have. We have three different options for our customers starting from just £59.99. This small annual cost could save you a lot more on emergency repairs, extend the lifespan of your boiler and keep your energy bills down by improving your boiler’s performance.

How long does a boiler service take?

The time it takes to service a boiler depends on what level of service you have. Typically a boiler service takes anything from 30 mins up to 60 minutes.

Will a service fix my broken boiler?

In some cases a boiler service will resolve a few issues that can come from a lack of routine maintenance, particularly pressure loss issues.

But if a boiler is broken down completely or is not working correctly then it’s usually a case that the boiler will need to be repaired before a service can be completed.

Do I need to have my hot water tank serviced too?

It’s very important to have your pressurised hot water tank serviced.

If you have a pressurised hot water cylinder then you should have that serviced too. If you have a gravity fed hot water tank then it’s not necessary to be serviced.

You can usually tell if it is a pressurised hot water tank because most of them are white, whereas gravity fed tanks can be green, blue, red, or just copper.

Pressurised hot water tanks have some important valves and components which need to be checked and routinely maintained.

If they’re not maintained it can lead to faults or in some cases a dangerous situation.

It’s highly recommended to have this serviced at the same time you have your boiler serviced.
